Winter comes early to NYC as Sony Pictures Entertainment releases the official trailer for the upcoming sequel film Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire. View trailer below.
In Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, the Spengler family returns to where it all started – the iconic New York City firehouse – to team up with the original Ghostbusters, who’ve developed a top-secret research lab to take busting ghosts to the next level. But when the discovery of an ancient artifact unleashes an evil force, Ghostbusters new and old must join forces to protect their home and save the world from a second Ice Age.
Oh, yes…. a new trailer for this project. I love it. Much like what i said previously about the official teaser trailer for this upcoming movie, the Ghostbusters franchise has endured throughout the many years, with 2021’s Afterlife being the latest entry in the long-running series and acted like a nostalgia rebrand of it all, connecting both the older fans and making new ones for the next generation. Frozen Empire seems to continue that trend, with this latest trailer showcasing footage, including more details about the film’s plot and introducing us to some new characters and other familiar characters from the series. Overall, I’m quite curious to see how Frozen Empire ultimately shapes up to be and how moviegoers will receive this sequel.

My kids and I loved the last one, we thought it was a lot of fun. Looking forward to giving this one a try.
Indeed, it will be an interesting film to see it as a follow-up to Afterlife. Hoping that it will be good.
