Monster Hunter Official Trailer

The fight for survival begins as Sony Pictures (and Screen Gems) presents the official trailer for their upcoming video game adaptation film of Monster Hunter. View trailer below.
Behind our world, there is another: a world of dangerous and powerful monsters that rule their domain with deadly ferocity. When an unexpected sandstorm transports Captain Artemis (Milla Jovovich) and her unit (TI Harris, Meagan Good, Diego Boneta) to a new world, the soldiers are shocked to discover that this hostile and unknown environment is home to enormous and terrifying monsters immune to their firepower. In their desperate battle for survival, the unit encounters the mysterious Hunter (Tony Jaa), whose unique skills allow him to stay one step ahead of the powerful creatures. As Artemis and Hunter slowly build trust, she discovers that he is part of a team led by the Admiral (Ron Perlman). Facing a danger so great it could threaten to destroy their world, the brave warriors combine their unique abilities to band together for the ultimate showdown.
I’ll admit….while I do play video games, I’ve actually never played Monster Hunter. However, I have heard about it and know a lot about it as I can see the appeal to it and understand why its become so popular. I do remember hearing about a movie being made based on the video game, but i kept on forgetting about it. Well, we finally have a trailer for the project and I have to say that it looks interesting. It kind of reminds me of the Resident Evil movies… a lot of stuff going on and Milla Jovovich acting like a badass character. I’m sure this movie will probably be a “big hit” with the video gamers out there who want to see Monster Hunter on the big-screen (promising to be in theaters at the end of the year). All in all, the movie looks interesting and I’ll be looking forward to seeing it. Heck….I might even pick up one of the games before watching Monster Hunter.
Monster Hunter arrives in theaters on December 30th, 2020
Like you I have also never played the game itself, but I do like the look of this one as well! Usually like Milla in these type of roles, and this looks just like one of those fun, monsterfilms!😀
After Milla’s iconic performances in Fifth Element and the Resident Evil Franchise, I’m game for any action film she’s in. Thanks for posting this!😀
I do agree. This movie kind of fits her. I’m not expecting greatness for this movie, but maybe something at the very least entertaining.
