The quest to find the source of Elsa’s powers begins as Walt Disney Studios releases the second official trailer for their upcoming animated sequel Frozen II. View trailer below.

Why was Elsa born with magical powers? What truths about the past await Elsa as she ventures into the unknown to the enchanted forests and dark seas beyond Arendelle? The answers are calling her but also threatening her kingdom. Together with Anna, Kristoff, Olaf and Sven, she’ll face a dangerous but remarkable journey. In “Frozen,” Elsa feared her powers were too much for the world. In “Frozen 2,” she must hope they are enough.

Wasn’t expecting a new trailer for this movie, but I’m glad that it did arrive. This new trailer for Frozen II showcases plenty of new footage, including revealing more of the feature’s plot and story through some of its various sequences. It seems like the film will uncover the truth behind Elsa’s powers as well as venturing beyond Arendelle (at least the kingdom we know from the first Frozen) and into a mystical enchanted forest, a place filled with new character and new dangers. It will be interesting to see where this movies goes and how it will be received by both critics and moviegoers. Still, I’m excited to see Frozen II, especially since almost everyone involved on the project returns to their posts, including directors and voice talents. All in all, I can’t wait to see Frozen II!
