Dumbo Official Theatrical Trailer

Get ready to fly and to believe in something “magical” as Disney (and director Tim Burton) present the official theatrical trailer for their upcoming live-action film Dumbo. View trailer below.

Holt was once a circus star, but he went off to war and when he returned it had terribly altered him. Circus owner Max Medici (Danny DeVito) hires him to take care of Dumbo, a newborn elephant whose oversized ears make him the laughing stock of the struggling circus troupe. But when Holt’s children discover that Dumbo can fly, silver-tongued entrepreneur V.A. Vandevere (Michael Keaton), and aerial artist Colette Marchant (Eva Green) swoop in to make the little elephant a star.

I knew that eventually we would get another trailer for this movie. This new trailer seems to show off plenty of new footage and reveals more of the feature’s plot. Interestingly, this movie seems a bit different from the animated tale, which is quite interesting as most recent live-action remakes from Disney seem to be a “carbon copy” in its cinematic translation (with only some minor changes). That’s what getting me excited to see this iteration of Dumbo and to see how it all plays out. However, of the three live-action Disney remakes that are coming out in 2019 (i.e. Dumbo, Aladdin, and Lion King, this particular movie is my least favorite one to get excited about. Still, regardless of what I think on that, I sincerely do hope that Dumbo succeeds and soars high in 2019.

Dumbo  flies into theaters on March 29th, 2019
