Transformers: The Last Knight Theatrical Trailer

For my world to live, yours must die!” are the words echoed by Optimus Prime as Paramount Pictures and Hasbro release the theatrical trailer for Transformers: The Last Knight. View trailer below.
When all seems lost, a few brave souls can save everything we’ve ever known. The Last Knight shatters the core myths of the Transformers franchise, and redefines what it means to be a hero. Humans and Transformers are at war, Optimus Prime is gone. The key to saving our future lies buried in the secrets of the past, in the hidden history of Transformers on Earth. Saving our world falls upon the shoulders of an unlikely alliance: Cade Yeager (Mark Wahlberg); Bumblebee; an English Lord (Sir Anthony Hopkins); and an Oxford Professor (Laura Haddock). There comes a moment in everyone’s life when we are called upon to make a difference. In Transformers: The Last Knight, the hunted will become heroes. Heroes will become villains. Only one world will survive: theirs, or ours.
Now I’m definitely interested in seeing this movie. As I said before, the Transformers series has had a rocky road as the first one was great (and well-received), but its sequels films have fared less and less with critics and moviegoers. The Last Knights seems like the previous statements (Bay’s excessive usage of action and heavy CG visuals). However, I am curious to know how this movie will ultimately shape up. Why is Optimus Prime bad? Where is Wahlberg’s daughter from Age of Extinction? Who is Anthony Hopkins character? Why is Josh Duhamel’s character in this movie? For all these questions to be answered, I guess I’ll just have to go see the movie. As it stands, this new trailer definitely peaked my interest more to see The Last Knight.

It has also peaked my interest, although I have enjoyed the action in the Transformers movies the plots have so far been repetitive and there is very little character development. But who knows this one might be the one.
I agree with you that the first Transformer movie was the best one, but its sequels were less hyped. Could it be due to the change of cast? I still doubt ‘Transformer: The Last Knight’ will make a huge opening. Maybe with the help of younger casts in the movie, there will be more sales.
