Caesar prepares to battle with the remaining humans as 20th Century Fox release the theatrical trailer for their upcoming film War for the Planet of the Apes. View trailer below.

In War for the Planet of the Apes, the third chapter of the critically acclaimed blockbuster franchise, Caesar and his apes are forced into a deadly conflict with an army of humans led by a ruthless Colonel. After the apes suffer unimaginable losses, Caesar wrestles with his darker instincts and begins his own mythic quest to avenge his kind. As the journey finally brings them face to face, Caesar and the Colonel are pitted against each other in an epic battle that will determine the fate of both their species and the future of the planet.

oh….wow! Looks pretty intense. As said before, I was never a huge fan of the Planet of the Apes movies, but these new films (this one plus Rise and Dawn of the Planet of the Apes) I do love. Maybe its because we actually see the actually evolution of the apes slowly taking over the planet or maybe its because its handle a bit more realistic tone compared to the original films (even Tim Burton’s 2001 version). Anyways, this new trailer for War for the Planets of the Apes looks awesome and with Matt Reeves directing the film, its definitely going to be a fun and entertaining movie. Can’t wait to see where the War ends.
