Spider-Man: Homecoming Teaser Trailer

Tom Holland’s Peter Parker is the masked “web-slinger” as Marvel Studio released the teaser trailer for their upcoming movie Spider-Man: Homecoming. View trailer below.
Following the events of Captain America: Civil War, Peter Parker tries to balance his life as an ordinary high school in Queens, New York City with fighting crime as his superhero alter-ego Spider-Man.
Like many out there, I was introduced to Holland’s Parker / Spider-Man in Captain America: Civil War. In truth, I was impressive with Holland’s performance. Yes, he’s the third iteration of the character and yes he is the youngest actor to play him, but Holland youth works great in his performance of the role. As for this trailer, I’m pretty excited after watching it. While it may not beat out my ultra high expectations to see Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Spider-Man: Homecoming seems a bit more “earthbound” Marvel adventure (after seeing Doctor Strange and with Guardians Vol.2, and Thor: Ragnarok coming out next year). The trailer itself was a bit quirky, showing Holland’s Parker struggle of being a superhero and a normal teenager. We also get to see Robert Downey Jr’s Tony Stark in the trailer as well as Michael Keaton’s Vulture. Can’t wait to see this movie.
Spider-Man: Homecoming arrives in theaters on July 7th, 2017
It looks good but why another actor??????????????????????
I guess because when Disney acquired the rights to Spider-Man, they decided to make him younger.
Right? How many times do they really need to go down that road.
Haha…until superheroes movies become unpopular.
I’m excited for this movie, I feel that this is the first perfect Spider Man. Spider Man was too old when he first got his powers in the first three and the Amazing Spider Man movies just weren’t that great. One thing I like about Spider Man is that you can see that character evolve from early on and see him get older and more experienced as a hero, while other characters remain pretty much the same age forever.
I’m excited for this movie. I do like Holland as Peter Park / Spider-Man. However, this movie still can’t beat out Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 will be the best marvel movie next year.
Definitely agree with on that
Eehhhh… Looks like it’s pushing the high school aspect too far and could be a little lame, and it doesn’t seem right they’re integrating Spider-Man into the wider MCU – just keep it to Spider-Man, we don’t want Tony Starke getting in the way. They also used the same shot where he jumps of the top of a building and has wing-things twice in the same trailer.
Oh well, I’m still holding out hope for it.
Reuben
Haha…I guess they are adding Stark into the mix to add continuity to the film (to try to connect it to the other MCU films). Or Robert Downey Jr. wanted to be in another movie.
Whichever one, I personally don’t think it’s necessary, because we’ve seen enough of Stark! Spidey should be left out of all the other claptrap.
Reblogged this on The Nerd Cave.
I’m really looking forward to this movie because it really looks different from the past five Spider-man movies (especially with Stark <3). I did however find the trailer to be a little messy at some points, like they really wanted to include everything.
I agree with you. The trailer was a bit messy at times. I guess it just wanted to touch on a lot of characters and material.
Yeah I think so too!
