Kingsglavie: Final Fantasy XV Trailer

The fires of war ignite between the nations of Lucis and Niflheim as Stage 6 Films and Square Enix release the trailer for the Final Fantasy XV spin-off project Kingsglavie: Final Fantasy XV. View trailer below.

The magical kingdom of Lucis is home to the sacred Crystal, and the menacing empire of Niflheim is determined to steal it. King Regis of Lucis (Sean Bean) commands an elite force of soldiers called the Kingsglaive. Wielding their king’s magic, Nyx (Aaron Paul) and his fellow soldiers fight to protect Lucis. As the overwhelming military might of the empire bears down, King Regis is faced with an impossible ultimatum – to marry his son, Prince Noctis to Princess Lunafreya of Tenebrae (Lena Headey), captive of Niflheim, and surrender his lands to the empire’s rule. Although the king concedes, it becomes clear that the empire will stop at nothing to achieve their devious goals, with only the Kingsglaive standing between them and world domination.

I know, I know. This trailer isn’t new (its been out for a couple of weeks), but its definitely worth putting up on my blog. It will be interesting to see the movie. I was a huge fan of Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, so this movie looks to be interesting. Hope its good, but I have a feeling that’s its going to be for FF fans (much like how Warcraft was for its fans). Still, the animation looks solid, the story is intriguing, and voice actors seems to fit. In short, can’t wait to see it.

Kingsglavie: Final Fantasy XV  will released in the US on August 19th, 2016 (in-select theaters) and to be released on Blu-Ray with Final Fantasy XV (the Deluxe Edition and the Ultimate Collector’s Edition) on September 30th, 2016.
