Halloween Ends Official Trailer
This is Laurie Strode’s last stand as Univeral Pictures releases the official trailer for the upcoming end to the new Halloween horror trilogy titled Halloween Ends. View trailer below.
Four years after the events of last year’s Halloween Kills, Laurie is living with her granddaughter Allyson (Andi Matichak) and is finishing writing her memoir. Michael Myers hasn’t been seen since. Laurie, after allowing the specter of Michael to determine and drive her reality for decades, has decided to liberate herself from fear and rage and embrace life. But when a young man, Corey Cunningham (Rohan Campbell; The Hardy Boys, Virgin River), is accused of killing a boy he was babysitting, it ignites a cascade of violence and terror that will force Laurie to finally confront the evil she can’t control, once and for all.
To be quite honest, I’m interested in seeing this movie. While I did like the 2018’s Halloween was actually pretty good and reimagine the movie as a sort of direct sequel to the original film, the second chapter titled Halloween Kills was pretty underwhelming for me. Yes, it had the blood and gruesome deaths that’s befitting the iconic slasher feature, but was unbalanced to its multiple side characters, awful direction, and just lackluster story. That being said, I am curious as to how this particular Halloween trilogy will end, with Halloween Ends being the conclusion to the Michael Meyers character. This first official trailer, which acts more like teaser for the film, showcases brief snippets of the upcoming film, including a big showdown scene between Laurie Strode and Michael. All in all, I am interested to see this movie ultimately shapes out to be.
Halloween Ends arrives in theaters on October 14th, 2022
