Everyone’s favorite blue hedgehog is back as Paramount Pictures and SEGA releases the official final trailer for the upcoming sequel Sonic the Hedgehog 2. View trailer below.
The world’s favorite blue hedgehog is back for a next-level adventure in SONIC THE HEDGEHOG 2. After settling in Green Hills, Sonic is eager to prove he has what it takes to be a true hero. His test comes when Dr. Robotnik returns, this time with a new partner, Knuckles, in search for an emerald that has the power to destroy civilizations. Sonic teams up with his own sidekick, Tails, and together they embark on a globe-trotting journey to find the emerald before it falls into the wrong hands.
Oh wow…I was looking forward to seeing a new trailer for this upcoming film. Much like what I said previously, I was a fan of the first Sonic the Hedgehog movie. It wasn’t perfect, but it was a lot of fun. Because of that, I was looking forward to seeing the inevitable sequel and here we are. This new trailer showcases plenty of new footage, including more shots of Tails and Knuckles as well as seeing a few more stuff from the video games, including Sonic snowboarding (like in Sonic 3′s Ice Cap Zone) and the Deathbuster from Sonic 2. All in all, I’m very excited to see Sonic 2 and can’t wait to see what the movie has to offer.
