Prepare to unite the world as Walt Disney Studios releases the new official trailer for their upcoming animated feature Raya and the Last Dragon. View trailer below.

Long ago, in the fantasy world of Kumandra, humans and dragons lived together in harmony. But when an evil force threatened the land, the dragons sacrificed themselves to save humanity. Now, 500 years later, that same evil has returned and it’s up to a lone warrior, Raya, to track down the legendary last dragon to restore the fractured land and its divided people. However, along her journey, she’ll learn that it’ll take more than a dragon to save the world—it’s going to take trust and teamwork as well.

Oh wow….wasn’t expecting a trailer for this movie this quick. Then again….the movie is coming out in two months. Being a fan of Disney’s animated movies, I’m looking forward to seeing this film. The new footage showcased in this trailer looks great. The overall animation and its style looks gorgeous and the film’s story (from what I can gather from the trailer alone) seems to be quite an slice of Disney fun with fantasy styled action as well as a splash of Asian influences and nuances aesthetics. Plus, I do like how the movie showed more of the films characters with their correspondent voice actors behind them. In short, I am looking forward to seeing Raya and the Last Dragon when it arrives in March as I’ll probably be watching it on Disney+ release version.

Raya and the Last Dragon  arrives both in theaters and on Disney+’s Premiere Access on March 5th, 2021
