Happy New Year 2020!

Ringing the new year with good tidings, joy, and cinematic storytelling from Jason’s Movie Blog. A quick update for you guys and special thank you.
With 2020 officially begun, I’m excited to watch and review many of the 2020 movie releases this year; hoping to laugh, cry, and awe within their theatrical narratives. Can’t wait!
Of course, I’ll be posting my Top 10 Worst Movies of 2019 soon, which will then be followed by my Top 10 Best Movies of 2019. So….stay tuned.
There are a few 2019 movies that I saw that I haven’t had the chance to review on here, including The Joker, The Farewell, Zombieland: Double Tap, Spies in Disguise, and The Irishman. So, I’ll be working on to getting those reviews done, completed, and published on here.
While i did fall behind on some of my movie reviews during the latter part of 2019 and trying to play “catch up” during the last two months of 2019, I did push my “cinematic flashback” reviews aside. So, rest assured, I’ll continue punch out more “cinematic flashback” in 2020 for reading pleasure as well as a few editorial pieces.
Lastly, I just want to thank all of you. This movie blog is really a passion project for me and I always doubt myself on whether I should continue this blog in the coming years. As many movie bloggers know, keeping you with current films and producing new content on your site (regularly) is quite a daunting task. So, the “daily grind” of it all sometimes get to me. However, the ends justify the means as I have you guys….my fellow movie bloggers, bloggers, readers, followers, etc. and your time spending reading my personal thoughts of the movies I’ve seeing is highly valued and appreciate all who reads my works. So, from the bottom of my heart….I want to thank each and every one of you!
Here’s to 2020….a new year!
You absolutely should not doubt yourself or consider stopping this blog; it’s a great read!
Happy New Year to you too, Jason. Maintaining a blog is a lot of work, especially if you’re demanding of yourself on the quality of it, which you obviously are since you post great reviews. Just remember if it’s a hobby then it’s a hobby and there’s really no “falling behind”. If five movies are released and you get to review one, then that one is very helpful to many of us, therefore the mission is accomplished. I personally would rather have a good, thorough review for fewer movies than some that just post a title and give the list of actors then say something shallow about it (“I didn’t really like this movie, it was too long.” What does that mean????) I can’t wait to see your worst movies list, I’ve waited a year for a new one!
Happy New Year!
Happy new year!
Happy New Year!
Happy New Year and keep up the excellent work!
