Get ready to take “action” to new heights as Paramount Pictures releases the new official trailer for their upcoming sequel movie Top Gun: Maverick. View trailer below.

Top Gun: Maverick takes place 34 years after the events of the original film and pits legendary Captain Peter “Maverick” Mitchell as the new flight instructor of Top Gun, in which he guides Bradley, Goose’s son, who seeks to become an aviator much as his father was.

Definitely gave me goosebumps watching that trailer. Much like what I said before for the previous trailer, I grew up watching the original Top Gun movie, so I’m pretty keen on seeing this belated sequel. This new trailer showcases plenty of new footage, especially a lot of the new characters that Maverick (assuming) will be teaching his aerial flight ways. It will be interesting to see how this movie will be received by both critics and moviegoers and how it will ultimately shape up to the original film. All and all, I’m greatly looking forward to see Top Gun: Maverick in 2020.
