Top Gun: Maverick Official Trailer

Get ready to head back to the “Danger Zone” as Paramount Pictures releases the official trailer for the upcoming sequel movie Top Gun: Maverick. View trailer below.
Top Gun: Maverick takes place 34 years after the events of the original film and pits legendary Captain Peter “Maverick” Mitchell as the new flight instructor of Top Gun, in which he guides Bradley, Goose’s son, who seeks to become an aviator much as his father was.
Oh wow….this looks pretty good! Of course, I remember seeing the original Top Gun movie a lot when I was growing up (my dad used to play it a lot when I was kid), so I’m quite familiar with the 1986 film as well as being a fan of it. It’s been quite sometime since that movie and this new trailer for the 2020 sequel and I have to admit that I’m pretty excited to see this movie. Not the hugest fan of Tom Cruise, but I enjoy him as Captain Peter “Maverick” Mitchell (as well as Ethan Hunt from the Mission Impossible movies), so it great to see him return to the character. As the synopsis states, the movie will follow Maverick as well as Goose’s son, so it will be interesting to see how the movie will ultimately pan out and how it will speak to a more modern audience. Whatever the case, I’m excited to see Top Gun: Maverick.….
Top Gun: Maverick flies into theaters on June 26th, 2020
I saw the trailer this morning and I was really impressed by it. Honestly it gave me goosebumps, which is a good sign. We still have to wait quite a while for this one to come out, but man I think it will be worth the wait 😊
The original film is one of my all-time favourites, and while there’s not a huge amount to judge from the teaser, what we do see looks like it will be a fun ride!
Looks like it will be good. The first was a fun movie and I don’t think I’ve seen it since it came out at the theater (It’s been so long I wondered why Goose wasn’t in this one… then oh yeah). I love what Ed Harris says, it’s something close to what my Lt told me once. “Despite your best business effort to be a backstop you live yet another day”.
I think I am the only one in my family who wants to see it, so I will wait for Netflix.
