Thor prepares to stop Hela from unleashing Ragnarok as Marvel Studios releases the official theatrical trailer for their upcoming superhero film Thor: Ragnarok. View trailer.

Thor is imprisoned on the other side of the universe and finds himself in a race against time to get back to Asgard to stop Ragnarok, the destruction of his homeworld and the end of Asgardian civilization, at the hands of an all-powerful new threat, the ruthless Hela.

Hmmm…..I did like this trailer more so than the previous one. However, the trailers (both of them) make the film a bit different from the previous two Thor movies. I can place my finger on it, but it just seems so. Anyway, the trailers shows off a ton of new footage, including Thor and Hulk (as well in his human form of Dr. Banner), Hela, and a couple of new shots of Tom Hiddleston’s Loki. I still wonder how this movie is all going to tie together with Thor fighting Hulk versus battling Hela. Also, wasn’t Thor and Loki looking for their Odin (supposedly) in the end credits scene of Doctor Strange. Regardless, as a huge fan of the MCU, I’m looking forward to see this third Thor movie.
