Based on the popular TV show of the same name, two unlikely prospective lifeguards vie for jobs alongside the buff bodies who patrol a beach in California.
I don’t know about this movie. Yes, I do like the cast, but it just seems a bit lackadaisical to me. I remember watching TV show from time to time, so I’m familiar with the premise, which will be somewhat the same in this new movie. I don’t know…from the trailer….the film’s comedy seems dry and Zac Efron seems to be playing the same character from Neighbors or Mike And Dave Need Wedding Dates (boring!). Baywatch is coming out in the summertime, so it jostle for position with the other summer movies and will be interesting to see what critics and moviegoers will make of this movie remake.

I give this one a solid “meh”. I’ll probably give it a watch, but it is definitely not what I expected. I’m not sure if I like the comedy style / twist.
