The Girl on the Train Theatrical Trailer

Find out what really happened to Megan Hipwell as Universal Pictures and DreamWorks release a new trailer for the upcoming film adaptation of The Girl on the Train. View trailer below.
In the thriller, Rachel (Blunt), who is devastated by her recent divorce, spends her daily commute fantasizing about the seemingly perfect couple who live in a house that her train passes every day, until one morning she sees something shocking happen there and becomes entangled in the mystery that unfolds. Blunt plays Rachel with Theroux taking the role of Rachel’s ex husband, Tom. Ferguson, then, is Anna, Tom’s new wife, while Bennett and Evans are playing a married neighbor couple that wind up inextricably tied to the plot.
Hmmm….this trailer, while good and definitely continues to peak my interest to see the movie, is (more or less) the same as the previous trailer. Sure, there’s a couple of new scenes, but it’s pretty much the same as the last one. Despite that minor quibble, I am curious to see what the whole “mystery” is about what really happened. Like I said for the previous trailer, it kind of feels like Gone Girl (didn’t read the book, but I loved the movie). I might have to pick up a copy of the book before I see this movie.
The Girl on the Train is set to be released on October 7th, 2016
