War is coming as Universal Pictures and Legendary Pictures released the second trailer for the upcoming video game theatrical adaptation Warcraft. View trailer below.
Warcraft is an epic adventure of world-colliding conflict based on Blizzard Entertainment’s global phenomenon. The peaceful realm of Azeroth stands on the brink of war as its civilization faces a fearsome race of invaders: Orc warriors fleeing their dying home to colonize another. As a portal opens to connect the two worlds, one army faces destruction and the other faces extinction. From opposing sides, two heroes are set on a collision course that will decide the fate of their family, their people and their home. So begins a spectacular saga of power and sacrifice in which war has many faces, and everyone fights for something.
While this trailer is shorter, it definitely shows off a ton of new footage. As I said before, I’m a huge fan of all things fantasy (I such a fantasy nerd) and a fan of Warcraft in general (the original RTS game, not the MMORPG), so, of course, I excited to see this movie. It will be interesting to see how this movie fares with critics and moviegoers as some are saying that Warcraft has the potential to be summer blockbuster flop. I hope that’s not the case. Only time will tell.
