This time around, after a series of misunderstandings, Alvin, Simon and Theodore come to believe that Dave is going to propose to his new girlfriend in New York City… and dump them. They have three days to get to him and stop the proposal, saving themselves from losing Dave.
In truth, I think this franchise need to stop after the first movie (Alvin and the Chipmunks), which was good for being a kids movie. I saw the second one (Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel) and thought it was bland and I’ve only seeing parts of the third movie (Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked). I’ll give this movie a try and see it when it comes out, but my expectations for this movie are low. In addition, I think this movie will not do well in theaters as it opening the same day as Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Who do think will win the box office crown weekend? Do I even have to ask?
