Star Wars: The Force Awakens Teaser Trailer
A new saga begins! Today, Walt Disney Pictures and Lucasfilms have released the teaser trailer for the highly anticipated Star Wars: The Force Awakens. View trailer below.
As of right now, no official synopsis has been released. What is known about this movie is that it begins a saga in the Star Wars universe and set after the events of Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi.
Though relatively vague and lasting only 88 seconds long, the teaser trailer looks promising. Like many out there, I am curious to find out on how well this movie (and its subsequent Roman numeral entries ) will stack up against the original trilogy (Episodes IV, V, and VI) or even the prequel trilogy (Episodes I, II, and III). The film is directed by J,J Abrams and I thought he did a good job in revitalizing the Star Trek franchise. He took us to the stars aboard the USS Enterprise, now it’s time for Abrams to take audiences back to the stars, but to a galaxy far, far away.
