Alien: Romulus Official Trailer
In space….no one can hear you scream as 20th Century Fox releases the official trailer for the upcoming sci-fi film Alien: Romulus. View trailer below.
Set between the events of Alien (1979) and Aliens (1986), the story concerns a group of young space colonizers who, while scavenging the deep ends of a derelict space station, come face to face with the most terrifying life form in the universe.
I was wondering when a new trailer for this movie was going to appear. It indeed looks quite intense and terrifying at the same time. Much like what I said previously for the film’s official teaser trailer, the Alien franchise has certainly had its ups and downs, with the recent endeavors (Prometheus and Covenant) drawing a division amongst fans with its expositional narrative backgrounds of the series lore. From this new trailer, the footage shown looks like it’s going back to the more “traditional” cinematic roots and is more interested in alien survival encounters rather than trying to explain backstory information, which is kind of a good thing. As many know, I’m not just a huge fan of horror movies, but I am curious to see what Romulus has to offer.

Alien: Romulus arrives in theaters on August 16th, 2024
Hi Jason,
Love the movie blog, very informative. Keep up the great work.
Frank.
Thank you for your comment. Much appreciate it!!!
This franchise sank so far I don’t think I can muster up much enthusiasm for this. But I’m sure I’ll give it a try at some point.
By the way, commenting here is more difficult now. It’s like at Eddie’s site where you can only comment through WP Reader.
Yes, I know. I tried to change it, but WP keeps it this way.
I agree with you on that. It’s like the Terminator film series,. a couple of them were good, but there is only so much that a filmmaker can do with a same old narrative. The same goes with the Aliens franchise…. there is only so much one can do with aliens running amok on a spaceship. Hopefully, this new movie is good.
