Solo: A Star Wars Story Official Theatrical Trailer

Get ready to climb back into the Millennium Falcon as Disney / Lucasfilms releases the official theatrical trailer for the second Star Wars spin-off film. Solo: A Star Wars Story. View trailer below.

Board the Millennium Falcon and journey to a galaxy far, far away in ‘Solo: A Star Wars Story,’ an adventure with the most beloved scoundrel in the galaxy. Through a series of daring escapades deep within a dark and dangerous criminal underworld, Han Solo meets his mighty future copilot Chewbacca and encounters the notorious gambler Lando Calrissian, in a journey that will set the course of one of the Star Wars saga’s most unlikely heroes.

Hmmm….well at least this new trailer was better (much better) than the previous teaser trailer released. This trailer features a whole skew of new footage for any Star Wars fan to appreciate, showcasing a lot of the new characters in the movie as well as some fan favorites (i.e Solo and Chewie). Much like what i said about this movie in the previous teaser trailer release, while I am interested in seeing this movie, I’m not completely sold on it. I would’ve rather seeing something completely new and different from the Star Wars universe rather than seeing an origin tale to Han Solo. Still, this movie does boast some intrigue (i am a bit curious to see how this ultimately shape out to be. All in all, I’m definitely gonna see this movie, but i still have some reservation about this movie. Hopefully, those doubtful reservations are proven wrong.

  • I’m also not entirely sold on the film, but this trailer is giving me hope, since it’s the first one to actually have me hyped up.

  • Thanks for your thoughts on this one. Totally agree with you. I would have rather seen something new too, especially since with some characters the legend is better than the actual story of their past. Since I was 9 years old I’ve had a certain perspective of Han Solo and I don’t want anything at this point to change that. But, the effects are great and it looks super cool, so I’ll see this one for sure.

    • Yeah, i agree. It would’ve been cooler if they focused on someone else like a very minor character in Star Wars or even a brand new (away from the episode movies). I’ll definitely see this movie, but i have a feeling that wouldn’t be blown away.

      • Yes, a minor character and how they fit into the world and got there would be cool too. I’ve always wanted to see a backstory on Jabba Desilijic Tiure haha.

  • Lando: A Star Wars Story. I wish!
