The Magnificent Seven Teaser Trailer

The Western classic is reborn as Sony Pictures and MGM release the teaser trailer for the upcoming remake The Magnificent Seven. View trailer below.

With the town of Rose Creek under the deadly control of industrialist Bartholomew Bogue (Peter Sarsgaard), the desperate townspeople employ protection from seven outlaws, bounty hunters, gamblers and hired guns – Sam Chisolm (Denzel Washington), Josh Farraday (Chris Pratt), Goodnight Robicheaux (Ethan Hawke), Jack Horne (Vincent D’Onofrio), Billy Rocks (Byung-Hun Lee), Vasquez (Manuel Garcia-Rulfo), and Red Harvest (Martin Sensmeier). As they prepare the town for the violent showdown that they know is coming, these seven mercenaries find themselves fighting for more than money.
Well, that was a cool teaser trailer. I know of the original The Magnificent Seven movie, which came out in 1960, but I haven’t seeing it yet (yeah, I know I have to see). I’m actually interested Western movies because its not as common place in today’s movies, so I’m definitely interested in seeing it. Plus, the cast looks great in the movie (yes…I’m a huge Chris Pratt fan).

  • It certainly looks the part, and has plenty of shootin’, killin’, and ‘plosions, but I can’t imagine it being as good as the original, and especially not as good as the original original (The Seven Samurai) which is a must see. Trailers do lie sometimes though 🙂

    • Oh, of course. Trailers do lie. They could spoil the movie or they could mislead viewers. Its really tossup. I plan to do a editorial blog on that. Regardless, I am looking forward to this movie.

  • More often that not they give too much of the movie away. I am looking forward to your editorial on this.
