Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Comic-Con Trailer

Warner Bros. Pictures debuts its comic-con trailer for next year’s highly anticipated blockbuster Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. View trailer below.

Fearing the actions of a god-like Super Hero left unchecked, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’s most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before.

While I have to admit that this trailer looks impressive, showing off a lot more new footage with superhero action, I still have my reservations about this movie.  I like how the it has returning characters from Man of Steel (Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Lawrence Fishburn, Diane Lane), but I’m not convinced yet on Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne / Batman or Jessie Eisenberg as Lex Luthor. Both are good actors, but maybe as these characters. I’m not uber excited to see this movie, but I am curious to see what the general reaction of moviegoers is.

“Be there hero, Clark. Be there angel. Be there monument. Be anything they need you to be. Or be none of it.”

The battle of the superheroes begins as Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice comes to theaters next year on March 25th, 2016.

  • I kind of had the same reaction. It was way better than I expected but still not 100% sold.

    • I like the Marvel movies better than DC ones, so maybe I’m a little biased against this movie. Who knows….the movie might be awesome.

      • Yeah I hope it is. I hated Man of Steel so that’s part of my reticence. Plus, the casting has just been strange.
