Shailene Woodley returns as Tris in the new teaser trailer for Summit Entertainment’s follow-up sequel to Divergent titled Insurgent. View trailer below.

Based on the second book in Veronica Roth’s New York Times bestselling trilogy, the action-adventure continues the journey of Tris Prior (Woodley) as war looms. Sides will be chosen, secrets will emerge, and Tris will risk everything as she struggles to harness her incredible power.

I like the first movie, so naturally I want to see its sequel. While the trailer looks intense, it doesn’t do much for me. Running about a minute long, the trailer is compromise of sequences from a singular scene, which is probably a dream sequence because of Tri’s mother is (Spoiler alert for anyone who did not read the book or seeing the movie) present and still alive. Hopefully, the full theatrical trailer will show a lot more (Events, plot, and characters) when it comes out in the next month or two.
