Set during the early 20th century, a riverboat captain named Frank takes a scientist and her brother on a mission into a jungle to find the Tree of Life which is believed to possess healing powers. All the while, the trio must fight against dangerous wild animals and a competing German expedition.
Hmmm….interesting. I vaguely remembering hearing that Disney was gonna make a movie about this, but kept on thinking that it would be releasing a few years from now. Well, I don’t what to make about this movie. Yes, I do love Blunt and Johnson as acting talents and I’m sure that both of them will provide plenty of on-screen “back and forth” banter throughout the movie, but this idea of another Disney attraction movie isn’t quite the most original or creative. On the other hand, I do like how adventurous the movie is gonna be. In the end, my interest is piqued, but I still have some reservations about this movie on whether it will be good or not. Only time will tell….
