The God of Thunder and the Asgardians of the Galaxy are back as Marvel Studios releases the official teaser trailer for the upcoming superhero sequel Thor: Love and Thunder. View trailer below.
Following the events of Avengers: Endgame (2019), Thor attempts to find inner peace but must return to action and recruit Valkyrie, Korg, and Jane Foster—who has become the Mighty Thor—to stop Gorr the God Butcher from eliminating all god.
Oh wow…. I’ve been expecting this trailer for quite some time, and I do have to say that I’m quite intrigued by it. This first teaser look at the new Thor movie looks to be quite the adventure for the God of Thunder, which showcases plenty of some spectacle footage, including several returning characters like the Guardians of the Galaxy. From the trailer alone, the movie looks to have more of the tone or visual nuances of that of Thor: Ragnarök, which has a large emphasis on humor than say the first two installment. This, of course, understandable as director Takia Waititi returns to direct Love and Thunder….and that’s a good thing. Oh…and that ending scene with Lady Thor. Quite interesting. All in all, I am looking forward to seeing Love and Thunder and what it has to offer in the grand scheme of the MCU.

I feel Waititi’s infusion of humor too. Like Ragnarok. And the idea of being a little lost and not taking things super serious feels welcome right now. I’m def looking forward to this one🙏🏼
Sadly, the movie (to me at least) was just okay. It was entertaining, but just didn’t feel like it lived up to the hype and anticipation. As always, thank you for the comment!
