The original principal cast of Downton Abbey will all once again return for the second film. In addition to the original cast, Hugh Dancy, Laura Haddock, Nathalie Baye, Dominic West, and Jonathan Zaccaï will join the cast.
Oh my….Yes….Yes….Definitely yes. As I’ve mentioned before (in some of my reviews) I am a sucker for costume period piece dramas and Downton Abbey is one of my personal favorites. I loved the original six season TV show as well as the feature length film that was released a few years back. Now, we finally get a “first look” at the new sequel film, which showcases plenty of new footage from the upcoming film. I’m glad that most of the principal cast is returning, including Dame Maggie Smith, and I love all the new players. All in all, I can’t wait to see this movie next spring!
