Uncharted Official Trailer

Fortune favors the bold as Sony Pictures releases the official trailer for their upcoming video game film adaptation of Uncharted. View trailer below.
Based on one of the best-selling, most critically acclaimed video game series of all time, Uncharted introduces audiences to the young street-smart Nathan Drake (Tom Holland) and showcases his first treasure hunting adventure with wisecracking partner Victor “Sully” Sullivan (Mark Wahlberg). In an action-adventure epic that spans the globe, the two go in dangerous pursuit of “the greatest treasure never found” while also tracking clues that may lead to Nathan’s long-lost brother.
Forgot to post this a couple of days after its release. My bad. Anyway, I will say that I am a fan of the Uncharted games. Uncharted 2 is my personal favorite. After the release of the Tomb Raiders movies (the two from Jolie and the one from Vikander), I was intrigued if an Uncharted film was going to be one day release. Now, we finally get a “first look” at this upcoming project and I do like it. It sure the witty “back and forth” banter between the characters of Drake and Sully from the video games and pretty much looks like a solid adventure that is something reminiscent to the Indiana Jones. It will be interesting to see how this ultimately pans out and how moviegoers will receive this movie. For now, I am looking forward to going to see Uncharted next year.
Uncharted swings into theaters on February 18th, 2022
Meaningless fanboy gripe: Would it have killed them to give Wahlberg a mustache?
Haha….very true. I do also wish that Nathan Drake was older. I’m sure Holland will do a great job in the role, but I like how the video games portray the character as more of a adult.
They seem to have combined the kid version from Drake’s Deception with the adult version in the entire series.
