The “worst heroes ever” are back as Warner Bros. Studios and DC Comics present the official trailer for the upcoming superhero team-up titled The Suicide Squad. View trailer below.
Imprisoned convicts of Belle Reve penitentiary are sent as members of Task Force X to the South American island of Corto Maltese to destroy Jotunheim, a Nazi-era prison and laboratory which held political prisoners and conducted experiments.
It goes without saying that 2016’s Suicide Squad divided fans and moviegoers alike; with many praising the cast, but hating pretty much everything else, including a weak story, bland bits, and a bit overstuffed. Thus, I was a bit surprised when I heard that a new Suicide Squad was announcement. However, with the idea for this new movie being helmed by Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn. Plus, the idea of adding new characters to the team as well as bringing some old ones from the first film definitely intrigued me. This new trailer for the film looks pretty great; providing plenty of humorous and insanely crazy antics for this new Suicide Squad movie. All in all, I am looking forward to seeing this movie. Whatever may come from this movie….I’m sure its gonna be a point of interest to watch.
