Godzilla vs. Kong Official Trailer

The “king of monsters” squares off against the “king of Skull Island” as Warner Bros. pictures releases the official trailer for the upcoming giant monster feature Godzilla vs. Kong. View trailer below.

In a time when monsters walk the Earth, humanity’s fight for its future sets Godzilla and Kong on a collision course that will see the two most powerful forces of nature on the planet collide in a spectacular battle for the ages. As Monarch embarks on a perilous mission into uncharted terrain and unearths clues to the Titans’ origins, a human conspiracy threatens to wipe the creatures, both good and bad, from the face of the earth forever.

Finally…..an official trailer for this movie! While I’ve mentioned before that I wasn’t the biggest fan of 2014’s Godzilla and 2017’s Kong: Skull Island, I do have to admit that I liked 2019’s Godzilla: King of Monsters. It wasn’t perfect, but it was definitely a sort of guilty pleasure of giant monster fun. The ending of that movie teases the possibility of a fourth installment and battle between Godzilla and Kong. Now, we finally have our first look into the project with Godzilla vs. Kong, the fourth installment in Legendary’s MonsterVerse. From what it is shown in the trailer, it looks like its gonna be a great big battle against the two titans. I do have find it interesting that Godzilla is probably gonna be the main antagonist of the two, with Kong being more of the savior of the world. However, movie trailers are usually deceiving, so the end result could be something else entirely. Still, I am looking forward to seeing this movie when it comes out at the end of March. The big question is….who will fall?

Godzilla vs. Kong  arrives in theaters on March 26th, 2021 as well as streaming exclusively on HBOMax
