Onward Official Trailer
The quest beginneth as Walt Disney Studios / Pixar Animation release the official trailer for their upcoming animated film Onward. View trailer below.
The film is set in a magical world populated with elves, trolls, mermaids, centaurs, fauns, satyrs, gnomes, sprites, goblins and all other mystical creatures. This world, however, where fairy tale was once the reality, is losing its sense of magic. Its inhabitants use machines such as mobile phones and cars instead of magic. Two teenage elf brothers, Ian and Barley Lightfoot, embark on a quest to discover if there is still magic in the world in order to spend one day with their father, who died when they were too young to remember him.
Haha….I love this trailer. This new trailer definitely showcases plenty of new footage, including the central plot of the movie, which seems quite interesting. I’m definitely get a “Pixar” vibe when I watch this as I expect some poignant moments that will surely pop up in the movie (alluding to Pixar’s signature). Plus, I do love the fantasy aesthetics throughout the movie, which I am curious as to how many creatures and monsters will appear in the movie. Also, I do love Pratt and Holland and I like them as two brothers. In the end, I’m quite excited to see this movie as to how it will stack up against Pixar’s past endeavors.
Onward arrives in theaters on March 6th, 2020
