27 years after the events of Terminator 2: Judgment Day, a new, modified liquid metal Terminator (Gabriel Luna) is sent from the future by Skynet in order to terminate Dani Ramos (Natalia Reyes), a hybrid cyborg human (Mackenzie Davis), and her friends. Sarah Connor comes to their aid, as well as the original Terminator, for a fight for the future.
Interesting, but very much like the last several Terminator movies. Sure, the franchise has been around for quite sometime, but it’s pretty much the same narrative gambit as before, with a few minor plot point curveballs thrown into the mix. That being said, Dark Fate looks to be something more akin to some of the earlier Terminators in both tone and narrative (sort of speak). Plus, I do like how Arnold and Hamilton are back for the movie. In the end, Dark Fate looks interesting….hopefully it will be better than Genisys.

The Genysis bar is set very low… I don’t think it will be as good as the first two, without Cameron behind the camera!
