The battles of war rage all around as Universal Pictures release the official trailer for the upcoming WWI epic drama titled 1917. View trailer below.
At the height of the First World War, two young British soldiers, Schofield (Captain Fantastic’s George MacKay) and Blake (Game of Thrones’ Dean-Charles Chapman) are given a seemingly impossible mission. In a race against time, they must cross enemy territory and deliver a message that will stop a deadly attack on hundreds of soldiers—Blake’s own brother among them.
Very interesting….I mean…wow! Definitely getting a sort of Dunkirk vibe to this movie….and I think that’s a good thing. WWI movies have always been overshadowed by WWII cinematic tales, so it’s quite a “change of pace” for Hollywood to focus their lens on a different “theater of war” for their storytelling. The film’s story also seems quite intriguing and will most likely showcase a lot of the hellish environments across the battlefield. Plus, the movie’s cast looks to be quite solid. All in all, I very interested to see how 1917 ultimately shapes up to be…..

Haha….well, he is a good actor. I’m sure he’ll be great in the movie.
