Everything is awesome (once again!) as Warner Bros. Pictures releases the official trailer for the upcoming animated sequel The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part. View trailer below.
5 years after the events of the first film, the heroes from the first film face a new threat: Lego Duplo invaders from outer space, wrecking everything faster than they can rebuild. The battle to defeat them and restore harmony to the Lego universe will take Emmet, Lucy, Batman and their friends to faraway, unexplored and musical worlds. Along the way they meet Sweet Harmony, a mini doll with devious plans.
I was hoping that a new trailer for this movie would be coming soon and (now) here it is. As I’ve said before, I loved the first LEGO Movie. It had plenty of laughs and the voice talents for all the characters were solid. It’s been awhile since we last saw Emmett and his friends, so it’s could that we finally get to see them all again and on a new adventure. This new trailer show plenty of new footage as well as several new characters, including Rex Dangervest (a spoof character that’s based on actor Chris Pratt’s past characters in his movie as well as Pratt voicing the character himself). Altogether this new trailer looks “awesome” and I can’t wait to see “the second part”.

Us too! Doesn’t seem as appealing as the first one but I’m hoping the entire family will enjoy it.
I was told by my tween that it was coming, and now I’ve seen this trailer, we are so there next year! Very excited, because Everything is Awesome.
