Hmmmm….I still don’t know about this movie. I mean, I absolutely love the story of Robin Hood (and all the various adaptations I’ve seeing over the years), but this movie seems pretty “eh” with me. I do love the cast and Egerton does make for a good (young) Robin Hood, but this seems too fanciful and too bland as if the movie is trying too hard into entice moviegoers. To me, I rather just see a original story of Robin Hood (no dark / edgy versions, or prequels / sequels, or spectacle), just the story that everyone knows and love. Overall, I’m still not super impressed with this movie, but I am hoping that this movie will be decent enough for me to find some entertainment value and not end up being another King Arthur: Legend of the Sword.
