Adonis Creed steps back into the ring as MGM and New Line Cinema release the first official trailer for the upcoming boxing sequel film Creed II. View trailer below.
Life has become a balancing act for Adonis Creed. Between personal obligations and training for his next big fight, he is up against the challenge of his life. Facing an opponent with ties to his family’s past only intensifies his impending battle in the ring. Rocky Balboa is there by his side through it all and, together, Rocky and Adonis will confront their shared legacy, question what is worth fighting for, and discover that nothing is more important than family.
Growing up watching the Rocky movies, Creed was definitely a great feature film, showcasing a new rising box star (Adonis Creed) as well as honoring the past film with Stallone’s Rocky being heavily featured in the movie. It was a great addition the franchise and one that sincerely hoped it continue, which does with Creed II. This first trailer for follow-up sequel looks great, displaying the struggle that Adonis faces as well as the ultimate showdown between him and Drago’s son. Definitely can’t wait to see this movie….

For a long time I didn’t want to see Creed – thinking it wouldn’t hold up the Rocky legend – but it was even better than I could have ever imagined. I can’t wait to see the journey continue
Oh, yeah. I agree with you. I thought Creed was just gonna be another remake / new iteration of a well-trodden franchise from Hollywood, but it turned out to be such a great feature film. Can’t wait to see what happen in Creed II!!!
I know Jason, I put Creed on, and went to begin folding the washing, and suddenly I was caught up in the movie and the story….it was so good.

Definitely agree with you on that….
I tried to get into Creed, and really wanted to, but it never did it for me. Seemed out of place for me in the Rocky universe. I’d enjoyed it more if it would have just been a stand alone movie. As for this one….. it’s drawing me in, but I’m scared I’d be disappointed again.
To me, Creed was a good movie as it branched out the Rocky universe (with a new character), but also stayed true to the past entries. Hopefully, this new movie will be good and I hope you do find a liking to it.
I’ve never seen any of the Rocky movies or the first Creed film, but this movie looks exciting! I think the Drago name being shown for only a few seconds toward the end of the trailer was a very clever idea. If Adonis Creed does win this anticipated boxing match, I wonder how the series will continue?
It will be interesting to see where these new movies will continue after. For now, though, I can’t wait to see Creed II. You should at least check out Rocky IV and Creed before seeing this movie.
