Coco Theatrical Trailer 2

Get ready to find your voice (and family) as Disney and Pixar Animation Studios presents the official theatrical trailer for the upcoming animated feature Coco. View trailer below.

Despite his family’s generation-old ban on music, Miguel (Anthony Gonzalez) dreams of becoming an accomplished musician like his idol Ernesto de la Cruz (Benjamin Bratt). Desperate to prove his talent, Miguel finds himself in the Land of the Dead. Along the way, he meets charming trickster Hector (Gael García Bernal) and together they set off on an extraordinary journey to unlock the real story behind Miguel’s family history.

This is probably my favorite trailer for this movie. It definitely was the longest and finally gave more insight into the film’s narrative of Miguel. The animation looks great as this trailer showed off plenty of new footage for us to see. Also, I liked how the movie used The Verve’s “Bittersweet Symphony” song in the trailer (or at least some rendition of it). Still, much like what I said before, I just can’t shake the feeling of “The Book of Life” when I’m talking about this movie. There’s definitely some similarities, but I’m hoping that Coco has enough to discern itself (which I think it will). So, in a nutshell, I’m very much looking forward to see how much of a splash Coco makes at the movies this holiday season.

Coco  is set to be released in theaters on November 22nd, 2017
