When scientists discover how to shrink humans to five inches tall as a solution to over-population, Paul (Matt Damon) and his wife Audrey (Kristen Wiig) decide to abandon their stressed lives in order to get small and move to a new downsized community — a choice that triggers life-changing adventures.
Hmmm…quite interesting. I do like the concept of the movie, which concedes with the idea of “downsizing” (in general terms). Haven’t really heard of any movie ideas similar to this, so dare I say that this movie has an original idea (something that’s humorously uncommon in today’s Hollywood). The cast looks great (Damon, Wiig, Waltz, Sudeikis), the visuals look good, and the movie looks like its going to be a cross between comedy and drama. We’ll just have to wait and see if this movie can prove its worth at the box office as it’s going up against Pitch Perfect 3 on its opening weekend and sandwiched big releases (Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi and The Greatest Showman).

It does strike me as a movie that could really be interesting and the trailer does like it will be just that. Usually Matt Damon is always entertaining, so hopefully this film will deliver. 😀

I just watched the trailer. I love the idea ! I want to see this film.
I’m 99.99% sure it’s gonna be a great movie. The plot seem to be on point although not much have been revealed yet concerning the movie.
