It’s the farewell tour, so it’s last call “pitches” as Universal Pictures releases the official trailer for the upcoming acapella sequel Pitch Perfect 3. View trailer below.
Now graduated from college and out in the real world where it takes more than a cappella to get by, the Bellas return in Pitch Perfect 3, the next chapter in the beloved series that has taken in more than $400 million at the global box office. After the highs of winning the World Championships, the Bellas find themselves split apart and discovering there aren’t job prospects for making music with your mouth. But when they get the chance to reunite for an overseas USO tour, this group of awesome nerds will come together to make some music, and some questionable decisions, one last time.
The Bellas are back (hooray!!!). I’m a fan of the Pitch Perfect movies, so I’m excited to see this third (and possible) final installment in the series. I do like how a lot of the cast as return for this new movie. As for the trailer, it looks pretty funny. I do wonder how the whole USO (military) aspect is going to fit into the movie and I wonder if the movie will follow in the same pitfalls that its sequel (Pitch Perfect 2) did by indulging too much in “fan-service” moments / characters. Regardless, I’m definitely looking forward to see Pitch Perfect 3 this holiday season. Plus, Ruby Rose is in it (YES, PLEASE).
