More “daddies”, more “problems” as Paramount Pictures releases the official trailer for their upcoming comedy sequel Daddy’s Home 2. View trailer below.

In the sequel to the 2015 global smash, father and stepfather, Dusty (Mark Wahlberg) and Brad (Will Ferrell) have joined forces to provide their kids with the perfect Christmas. Their newfound partnership is put to the test when Dusty’s old-school, macho Dad (Mel Gibson) and Brad’s ultra-affectionate and emotional Dad (John Lithgow) arrive just in time to throw the holiday into complete chaos.

Ehhhh….I don’t know about this movie. Despite me liking both Ferrell and Wahlberg as actors (most in their respective roles), I wasn’t a huge fan of the first Daddy’s Home. I found the premise to be good, but the actually movie to be bland and unfunny, which is kind of bad for a comedy film. I really didn’t even think that a sequel was really warranted….I guess the studio heads disagreed with that. As for this sequel (of which nobody wanted), it looks like pretty much a rehash of the first movie, throwing Gibson and Lithgow into the mix. Will this sequel be funnier than the first film….I certainly hope so. However, this is one movie that I’m not really optimistic about.
