“Kingsman: The Secret Service” introduced the world to Kingsman – an independent, international intelligence agency operating at the highest level of discretion, whose ultimate goal is to keep the world safe. In “Kingsman: The Golden Circle,” our heroes face a new challenge. When their headquarters are destroyed and the world is held hostage, their journey leads them to the discovery of an allied spy organization in the US called Statesman, dating back to the day they were both founded. In a new adventure that tests their agents’ strength and wits to the limit, these two elite secret organizations band together to defeat a ruthless common enemy, in order to save the world, something that’s becoming a bit of a habit for Eggsy…
Haha…looks like it’s going to be another “balls to walls” crazy sequel adventure. The first Kingsman movie I did like. Sure, it was a bit over-the-top and full of violence action, but it was a cheeky action satire piece that riffed on the spy genre. So, in short, it was indeed a memorable R-rated movie. This first trailer for its sequel, while relatively short, seems to keep up the aesthetics from the first one, with plenty of ridiculous spy action happening left and right as well as having a solid cast of recognizable actors / actresses. Plus, I love the Frank Sinatra song in the trailer. Also, I wonder how Colin Firth’s character survived….if he did (could be just another flash back sequence). We’ll just have to wait and see.

I wouldn’t say this trailer made me super excited for the movie but I still am, got to love Taron Egerton!
Haha…Egerton is a good actor. So, if you don’t like this movie, at least you’ll see him running around for 2 hours…lol!!!

I’ll check it out. I was pleasantly surprised by the first one, having watched it on a lark with no idea what it was about.
Haha…that’s always the best way to see a movie with pre-conceived notions of what’s it about. Hopefully this new one is good as the first one.
