Johansson is “unstoppable” as Paramount Pictures debuts the second trailer for their upcoming movie Ghost in the Shell. View trailer below.
Based on the internationally-acclaimed sci-fi property, “GHOST IN THE SHELL” follows Major, a special ops, one-of-a-kind human-cyborg hybrid, who leads the elite task force Section 9. Devoted to stopping the most dangerous criminals and extremists, Section 9 is faced with an enemy whose singular goal is to wipe out Hanka Robotic’s advancements in cyber technology.
As I said before when I posted about the first trailer, I’ve heard of the anime Ghost in the Shell (and how much people talked about it), but I haven’t seeing it yet. Now, after seeing this movie, I’m really tempted to watch the original anime version before seeing this movie. As for the trailer itself, it’s pretty sweet. We see more of the story around Johansson’s Major as well as plenty of other sci-fi action footage. I still have some lingering doubts as to if this move will be good or not….but I guess we just have to wait and see.
Ghost in the Shell hits theaters on on March 31st, 2017
It’s looking good so far! If the trailer is any indication, this might just be one of very few adaptations on par with the original.
