Get ready for some “bad blood” as Warner Bros. Animation releases the first trailer for the upcoming spin-off sequel animated feature The LEGO Ninjago Movie. View trailer below.
6 ninjas are “hired” by an old Master (Jackie Chan) and become the “heroes” at night, defeating monsters and riding awesome vehicles. Meanwhile, a hungry warlord (Justin Theroux) plots for revenge on his brother, Wu, who was the Master that trained the ninja.
Haha…this looks funny. With this trailer being released on the eve of The LEGO Batman Movie, this movie is the second spin-off film to 2014’s The LEGO Movie. Like that movie (and The LEGO Batman Movie), The LEGO Ninjago Movie seems to carry the same bravado and overall tone, with plenty of humorous bits that will appeal to all ages as well talented actors voicing the characters. While I’m not huge fan of the Ninjago Legos (or its cartoon series), I’ll definitely give this movie a try and go see it when it comes out. For now, I’m satisfied by this trailer in my appeal and interesting to see this movie.
