Acclaimed director Christopher Nolan heads to WWII as Warner Bros. Pictures releases the first full teaser trailer for the movie Dunkirk. View trailer below.

Allied soldiers from the British Empire, Belgium and France are surrounded by the German army on the beaches on Dunkirk and evacuate it in Operation Dynamo between 26 May and 4 June 1940 during World War II .

From the superhero films of The Dark Knight Trilogy to the mind-bending movie of Inception to the quantum mechanics of the sci-fi drama Interstellar, Christopher Nolan’s movies are usually open to be celebrated with great attention to deal and elements of engaging storytelling. Dunkirk looks to be a bit of a departure of his recent films, with more historical drama feature. I’m sure it’s going to be great (personally can’t wait to see it) as the trailer looks pretty cool and intense. Plus, the cast (Hardy, Rylance, Murphy, Branagh) looks impressive. We’ll just have to wait and see if Nolan’s Dunkirk lives up to the illustrious director’s past endeavors. I’m hoping it is.
