Transformers: The Last Knight Teaser Trailer

Get ready to “roll out” with the Autobots once more as Paramount Pictures and Hasbro releases the teaser trailer for the upcoming blockbuster film Transformers: The Last Knight. View trailer below.

Optimus Prime finding his home planet, Cybertron, now a dead planet, which he comes to find he was responsible for killing. He finds a way to bring the planet back to life, but in order to do so he needs to find an artifact, and that artifact is on Earth .

Interesting. Like many out there, I was fan of the first Transformers movie, but particular didn’t care for the follow-up sequels (Revenge of the Fallen, Dark of the Moon, and Age of Extinction). This teaser trailer for the fifth movie looks interesting, bringing back Mark Wahlberg’s character Cade as well as Josh Duhamel’s character Lennox (as well as a few others). Plus, adding Anthony Hopkins into anything is always a good thing. As for the movie itself, I’m kind of mixed. The Transformer movies have embraced director Michael Bay’s ideal of excessive action and explosive to the point where a viewer loses interest. Hopefully that’s not the case The Last Knight and let’s hope that there more to this blockbuster action film “than meets the eye”.

  • Honestly can’t wait for the movie to be released! It looks so promising!

    • It does look promising. But I still have my personal doubts about this movie. However, I’m hoping for the best. Thanks for the comment!

      • I understand your point of view. Especially after the horrible Age of Extinction, I hope those movie could bring back the former glory for this franchise.

      • I definitely agree with you. The trailer makes the movie look good, so I’m interested in seeing it, but I do have some linger doubts about this movie.

      • Every movie will have it’s flaws. Some just more evident than others. I also have doubts about some movies. Just watch Cinemasins on YouTube. They point out flaws in every movie they watch.

      • Oh yeah. I’ve seen Cinemasins plenty of times

  • I’m hoping that this new movie will stray farther away from the repetitive plots of the previous ones. Although I enjoyed all the previous movies, the plots of the sequels were lacking. With Age of Extinction I feel that the movies went a little deeper, than there’s a Cybetronian artifact that the Decipticons want to use for evil and the Autobots a have to stop them. This is a little unrelated but I have just recently discovered your blog and would like to say that I have greatly enjoy your posts and compliment the way you set them up. I enjoy hearing your opinions and look forward to what you have to say on many upcoming movies I am interested in.

  • Transformers have been very unstable for me, some movies I have really liked and some I didn’t really fancy. Not even sure if I’ll watch this one, I probably should give it a go but I don’t really got that attached to Transformers unfortunately. Looks like a pretty cool movie though, hope it’s amazing for all Transformers fans!

    • Thanks for the comment. Yeah, I agree. The movie franchise has been unstable. The first one I loved, but its sequels were less than desirable. While The Last Knight looks cool, I can’t shake a feeling that this movie is going to be like the other sequels (a mixed bag of sorts).

  • I’ve got big reservations about this film. Really didn’t enjoy the last one. They’re becoming crazier and crazier…

    • Each new movie has the same essential plot as the previous one, there’s so much more that could be done to the franchise. What I would like to see is a prequel chronicling the war before it reach Earth or at least a movie without humans involved.
