Fifty Shades Darker Trailer

Forget the past and slip into something a shade “Darker” as Universal Pictures and continues the elusive courtship Anastasia and Christian in Fifty Shades Darker. View trailer below.

When a wounded Christian Grey tries to entice a cautious Ana Steele back into his life, she demands a new arrangement before she will give him another chance. As the two begin to build trust and find stability, shadowy figures from Christian’s past start to circle the couple, determined to destroy their hopes for a future together.

Hmmm….I don’t know what to write. Yes, the first movie (Fifty Shades of Grey) made a lot of money, but it was marred with mixed to negative reviews. Personally, I wasn’t a big fan of the movie (so many things wrong with that movie) as it appeared on my Top 10 “Worst Movies of 2015” list. Trailer itself for Fifty Shades Darker was okay, it showed intriguing, romance, more forbidden love, and a new rendition of Beyoncé’s “Crazy Love” by Miguel. I’m not super hyped for this movie, but (because I do movie reviews), I’ll probably go and see it.

Fifty Shades Darker heads to theaters on February 17th, 2017

  • Interesting trailer…

    1) Considering that Fifty Shades came from Twilight fan fiction if I remember correctly, if you didn’t like Twilight, you probably won’t like this franchise either.

    2) Didn’t they “sorta break up” at the end of the first movie? How are they together again?

    3) Did the tone just take a turn for thriller and suspense? What’s up with that creepy girl? Who is she?

    • Well, I was never a fan of the Twilight movies, but Fifty Shades of Grey (the movie) was pretty bad. Acting was bad, the script was weak, and the sexual scenes were pretty tamed (I think I’ve seen erotic scenes on Game of Thrones.

    • Yeah, they did break up at the end of the first movie….I guess they get back together (they have two more movies to cover). Also, I believe (not 100 percent sure) that the girl in the movie was his first lover, which I think he mentioned in the first film.

  • On the plus side, Lego Batman comes out around the same time. In fact, the tag line for this movie – “Slip into something a shade darker” – wouldn’t look out of place on a Lego Batman poster.
