A visually spectacular drama from acclaimed director Juan Antonio Bayona (The Impossible, The Orphanage), based on the award-winning children’s fantasy novel, the story concerns 12-year-old Conor (Lewis MacDougall) as he attempts to deal with his mother’s (Felicity Jones) illness and the bullying of his classmates by escaping into a fantastical world of monsters and fairy tales that explore courage, loss, and faith.
I know that this trailer came out a while ago, but I thought I post it (I never heard about it until a couple of days ag0). I have to admit that this teaser trailer looks interesting. I vaguely remember hearing about this book. I might have to check it out.
A Monster Calls is set to open nationwide on October 16th, 2016
Reminded me a little bit of the BFG trailer. Apparently Giants love to snatch up kids.
