“The Nice Guys” takes place in 1970s Los Angeles, when down-on-his-luck private eye Holland March (Gosling) and hired enforcer Jackson Healy (Crowe) must work together to solve the case of a missing girl and the seemingly unrelated death of a porn star. During their investigation, they uncover a shocking conspiracy that reaches up to the highest circles of power.
I remember seeing the first trailer for this in theaters and didn’t pay much attention it, which is why I didn’t post it on my blog. However, since then, and after seeing this trailer, I’m starting to have an interest of seeing this movie. I do like Crowe and Gosling as actors and the story seems to be like a throwback to the 70s detective genre. In short, it looks like a fun satire of a movie.
