Me Before You Trailer

Emilia Clarke and Sam Claflin fall in love in the trailer for the theatrical adaption of Me Before You. View trailer below.

The film tells the story of two very different characters: Lou, a small town girl caught between dead-end jobs and Will, a high-profile, successful man who becomes wheelchair bound following an accident. Will has decided his life is not worth living until Lou is hired for six months to be his new caretaker. Worlds apart and trapped together by circumstance, the two get off to a rocky start. But, Lou becomes determined to prove to Will that life is worth living and as they embark on a series of adventures together, each finds their world changing in ways neither of them could begin to imagine.
I have to say that I find this trailer interesting. The movie, which is based off best-selling book by Jojo Moyes, looks good and I absolutely love the cast. I mean it has every recognizable British actor from Emilia Clarke, Sam Claflin, Charles Dance, Jenna Coleman, Matthew Lewis, and Brendan Coyle. I’m not usually a fan of romantic films, but, for this one, I might be. I may even have read the book before seeing the movie.

Me Before You is set to be released on June 3rd, 2016

  • I hated this book but others love it so I’m sure it will do quite well.

    • Really? Why did you hate it?

      • Because it’s very manipulative emotionally. It tries to stack the deck in such a way that if you disagree with the very controversial choice of the lead character than you are a bad person. I really dont like that. A movie like Million Dollar Baby tells a similar message but I felt like that gives some room to disagree with said choices. They make it seem like there are no other options and that doing something I believe is wrong should be celebrated. It really irritated me. Plus the dialogue was terrible. It is full of tropes. My review said “like a Nicholas Sparks book but less competently written”. But a lot of people loved it so who knows 🙂

  • I want to go see that movie especially after reading your review. I thought it was awesome no I love how you tell about all the other actors in the movie .Again kudos
